St Ives open Meet is coming up fast with over 300 people entering. Anyone here coming to it???

Harsh!!! Then again you do come from scotland so you r proberly all a bit to slow to get in!!!!

...like you'd come anyway given your complaints about having to come to cambridge for the nationals! ;)

Anyway what is the standard like :confused: , and how do yo now your swimmers woudl be too fast (although I admit that the general standard in cambridgshire isn't the greatest in the country...:( )

Cos I have just checked out the rankings on the British Swimming website doing a search under Cambridge and finding my swimmers are far better than all but a couple of those coached by my colleague Tim Westlake.

Matt, you misread my post, I said my swimmers were too good not too slow! :p

OK so most of your swimmers are faster than their contemporaries at cambridge - but what about any other clubs that might be attending? Ipswich? West Suffolk? Nova? Also, Peterborough have a few speedy people, as do St Ives themselves (although not necessarily juniors)
