Gallica, a highly successful Lancashire based swim squad is seeking to employ a Squad Administrator.

Gallica SC, a highly successful swimming squad based in Lancashire is seeking to employ a Squad Administrator.

The squad is divided into three groups catering for age group, youth and open swimming at every level of the sport.

Since its inception in September 2004, Gallica has achieved:-
Top Age Group Squad 2006 National Championships.
Over 35 national swimmers in 2006.
Winning over 20 medals at the Age group & Youth Championships.
Has swimmers identified for the AASE Programme.
Has swimmer at the British Off Shore centre.

The duties will include:-
Liasing with groups, coached and committees.
Organising competitions.
Funding Applications.
Membership responsibility.
Responsibilty for newsletter & website.
Day to day running tasks and communication.

It is envisaged that the successful applicant will have the following:-
Knowledge and experience of Squad administration, grant & funding applications and project management skills - not necessarily in swimming.
The ability to work under own initiative and to tasks and timescales set by the Squad. A full driving license and access to a vehicle are also required.

Hours are negotiable and pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
