The 2007 British Masters Championships will take place on the 15-17th June in the Manchester Aquatics Centre.

Up to 700 participants aged 19 and over are expected to travel to Manchester to take part in three days of competition against top level masters swimmers including world and European record holders.

Masters swimming is becoming an increasingly popular sport and this year’s competition promises to showcase the talents of both new and experienced competitors.
And I hear it will be there in 2008, three years in a row. Anyone know why? And are 18 year old (on the day) females not allowed to compete any more?

I read somewhere that they got it on more favourable financial terms by booking it for 3 consecutive years.

So does that mean we will get more favourable entry fees?

We won't, but they will.

The entry fees will rise, well above the rate of inflation, which will favour the ASA. (again)

I heard that the favourable rates were zero pounds an hour.

So all that lovely profit is to be made from us Masters again.

If I remember correctly the Premier Travel Inn at Manchester City Centre (Deansgate Locks) is pretty close.

I have booked the IBIS for Manchester - 10 mins walk away, but about £50 a room. Also booked the IBIS for Sheffield 2007 as well (The Sheffield one, not the Manchester one).
