Hi, I just want to know, how we get the results of last years BUSA Shortcourse into swimrankings.net.
There are some results listed, even of the university my daughter is swimming for, but just some boys....
I wrote some emails but didn't get any answer, so who is responsable for that? It's quite important, because she swam a record there and we need it to be in swimrankings to have it official.
Another question: Why are her results on swimnews.com? Where do they get them from?
We need the 50m and 100m breaststroke results.
Thank you,
Jenny

Hi Jenny,

for all meets in Great Britain, we receive complete results from British Swimming. Complete means, all results with 750 FINA points or more (650 for juniors). This is what we officially maintain for the European rankings of LEN.

Thanks for that Christian, that's interesting to know. However, if you are saying the results from GB are complete, then why do they almost always come up with a little yellow X next to them? According to your site the yellow X means only partial results of the meet are available?

By the way, I think your site is truly excellent, easily one of the best swimming sites available and a huge resource of valuable information. Keep up the good work.

When I said GBR data is complete, this is only regarding the requests from LEN for the European rankings (all results better than 750 / 650 points). But in the "meet view" we do not have complete results of these British meets, because slower times are missing.

And thanks for the compliment. We try our best. Part of the work is payed by LEN and some national federations (top 100 rankings). But all the extra features and the work on older results is mainly my hobby, done in my free time. It's more fun when I see, that people appreciate it.

For some of the ideas I still have, there is work to do, where you don't need programming skills, just time and some knowlege about swimming. So volunteers are welcome, to drop me an email :-).
