Notice that TI are doing a workshop in Cardiff. What do UK coaches think of TI and its 'ethos'? I'm not sure about it!
I like the fly and breast drills and tried them myself but the free and back still worries me a little. However I do know of Master swimmers changing strokes and doing very well on it.
It would be good to get discussions going again on this site!

Knowing how much scope there is for discussing this subject, it should probably get a section of its own (Chris).
Personally, I don't have an awful lot against TI. I just don't like the way its advocates try to belittle other teaching methods.
Obviously TI works for some people, but other methods still (and always will) work for others.

Anyone out there done a workshop?
Its alot of money.
If you have done a workshop has it helped and are you still practicing?
Have your times got faster?
Have you lost fitness?
I love the idea of mixing fly and breast but whilst coaching kids it would be a nightmare as I was always discouraging them from doing breast kick when they were supposed to do fly kick.
The web site is excellent and the discussion group too.

Yeh, we can have TI forum (if that's what the people want!!)
Hands up who wants to be a Moderator?
