Change of last qualifying dates I have noticed ...:read:

Yths - last qualifying date was 4th April ( before Easter weekend, now its changed to 10th April!..........

and Age Groups - last qualifying date was 9th May and is now the 15th May....

Can anyone enlighten me as to why they have suddenly been amended on the Regional websites ... my list of last chance to qualify meets will now need amending :banghead: , pity most of the Easter meets will more than likely be full as that will be the last chance to qualify for Yths.

Ps this is for West Mids and East Mids swimmers.

Derventio Open at Easter have been massively oversubscribed I hear, well before closing dates .Glad I sent our clubs entries off really early.

City of Birmingham Easter Meet closing date is 5th March I think, it is short course but you could try that one? Web is www.swimbirmingham.org.uk I think.

City of Coventry meet a week later than normal on 12th & 13th May, appears may have changed qualifying dates to accomodate as this is last 50m meet in Region before closing date.

Should have said obviously only helps age groups.

Just found out that City of Birmingham have changed their closing date to 12 March as there was an error in the lower acceptance levels which has resulted in the meet being undersubscribed. They are now saying ignore lower levels and you will be considered. So if anyone still searching for a meet for youth qualifying times its at www.swimbirmingham.org.uk
