HI all less than 2 weeks to go getting a little excited in my house now lol:wave:

florence (little l) is doing this for the 1st time as is entered in 7 events and low and behold she is sick :rolleyes:

nasty snotty cold / virus has laid her up for a good week now

shame the draft program is a muddle she is completely missing and the are several other errors i spotted on the 1st read thouugh:confused:

but hey i am sure it will all work out right on the weekend.

anyone else going ?? it would be good to say hi and know who i am cheering for on the day :wave:

:) Don’t worry Ice from what I have heard the DSE are always messing the start sheet just make sure you have your entries with you on the day maybe make a visit to the Omega Suite on the morning before the race to make sure they have Little1 details( if her coach or team manager is with her get them to do it), we will be there my husband and I will be helping poolside with the North West Team see you there, hope your daughter is feeling better soon, :doctor:

Obviously I don't know how much she normally trained, but it can take appx 10 days of total rest before aerobic fitness can be lost. Fitness lost time scale is equal to fitness gained time scale, so if she can do some training before she competes she should be ok, good luck.

cheers both she was back in the water last night and had a good technique session which helped and tonight is back to main training we will get a full week in now before then so we hope to be ok

mermaids mum we will be with the east mids team good luck i am helping on poolside too!

this time tomorrow we will be on our way she seems to have recovered well from the bug so lets hope we get some good times this weekend

its scarey how much they improve at this age
her entry times were accurate from last year and since december she has improved on every single time.

i think growing a bit has helped lol
