Sheffield Hotel Compensation

For those of you trying to claim compensation from British Swimming for having booked non refundable hotels for the original dates for Bagcats/Nationals 2007, here is some info for you..


Most (but not all) of the e mails that have been sent to either Katie Brazier or Lucy Easters have NOT been received. British Swimming have a weird and wonderful e mail system where by most of the email claims have been put into a SPAM account and ignored.

If you have not received an acknowledegment from Lucy Easters you need to resend your claim by e mail AND by post.

Cheques are being written as I type.

DON'T LET YOURSELF BE THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY!!!

Check your acknowledgments ASAP.

OK Guys- I am seriously starting tp get pi$$ed off with this..........
British Swimming National Events have passed the whole thing over to "World Class" as it was Bill Sweetenham that had the dates changed. David Sparkes has agreed to pay the 50% compensation.

Unfortunately the lack of communication between the two offices combined with them not being in the same building has resulted in many hotel confirmations getting lost en route.

The person now dealing with it is a lady named:

Out of approx 70 claims she can only compensate about 5 as she hasn't had the confirmations through. So start e mailing/calling her NOW.

She will also need your bank details as of course all the World Class signatories are in Oz so she can only make BACS payments. If you contact her today you should get your money by Friday.
