Lancashire County Championships 2007

Last year for the first time a live results service for the Lancashires was provided through a link on the NW Region webpages. It seemed to be a successful exercise in 2006.
There is nothing however on the current Swimnorthwest site about the 2007 Event ( it appears to have atrophied in Nov 2006!!!) Lancashire County doesn't appear to have its own website.
Could anyone out there provide a link if live results are to be posted to the net this year please?
If there is a draft programme available could a link be provided too please?

As far as I understand Lancashire do not provide a draft programme but I stand to be corrected

I emailed them about what has to be the worst regional swimming website - and this is the reply I received (about a month ago)

"Thank you for your comments concerning our website, we are always happy to receive the views of our community.

We are sorry that the website is out of date. This is something that we are aware of, and are working very hard to try and rectify. however at present, due to technical problems beyond our control, I am unable to upload any information to the site. This problem is currently being addressed and we hope to have it rectified as quickly as possible.

We are currently initiating a complete overhaul of the website in terms of both design and content and therefore welcome any comments regarding the site and what you would like to see there. We value your comments, and want your experience of the site to be a positive one and therefore will try to incorporate any suggestions that we receive that are relevant.

Once again, I am sorry for the inconvenience that may have been caused to you and apologise for the lack of information there at present. I would like to assure you that we are doing everything we can to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further comments or suggestions, or indeed any further queries and I will do my utmost to help to resolve them.

It is a terrible website isnt it ?
- I think that there is zero chance of getting any results - never mind live ones! It will be fastest to look on the darkstar website as usual I expect.

It is regretable and a shame that perhaps the most effective communication tool available to NW Region and Lancashire County is being overlooked.
It looks like the bright initiative of last year was a false dawn.:cry:

Well done Lancashire in responding to all the prompts for a basic information resource; that is all that is really needed if the NW Region gets its act together now to update and maintain its site.
