Haha, pete speedy you are wicked.
Wassup the lad.
I went to glasgow once. Went clubbing in 'the tunnel'. Great club.
Couldnt understand a word anybody was saying. Especially with dance music pumping in my earhole.
Ive never felt like such an alien.
3 of the most undecipherable accents. Scots, southern Ireland and Newcastle.
No mistaking my accent. Proper Essex lad, clear as day and scruffy as hell :)
oh and more importatly 62 miles from guildford. I would normally drive past it on the way to college but i take an early junction just to avoid it.

Brought up in Troon. Lived in Glasgow, Bishopbriggs, Prestwick and Kilmarnock before moving to Shetland........... which is as far away from Guildford as you can get without moving abroad - about 750 miles

I've been looking at Owen Morgan's website. He's mentioned how many miles away he lives from Guildford too.
He must know something.

At his age he probably knows lots of things!:fingers:
By the way - dont swimmers look different with their clothes on -saw Owen in a petrol station (funnily enough very close to Guildford) the other day and nearly didn't recognise him ...:aarrgghh:

I'm an American who grew up about midway between Chicago and Detroit, and got sick of the weather. (Yeah, you try dealing with seven months of snow and slush every year) So the spousal unit and I now live in northwest Florida about four hours east of New Orleans.
It's still snowing at my parents' house, but the organge tree in my front yard is now blooming, as are the azaleas.

Kingston upon Hull is where I dwell less than a mile from John Prescott’s house. Hull is the birth place of William Wilberforce. It is home to two professional rugby league teams, Hull FC and Hull Kingston Rovers. It is said that the English civil war started when the people of Hull refused to allow Charles I through its gates; it was the first act of defiance against the monarchy. Hull doesn’t smell of fish, well not anymore. I have always lived in Hull; went to shool there (West Dock Avenue then Sydeny Smith High and Leo Schultz High) and eventually studied at the University of Hull. However, I want to retire and end my days in Whitby, further up the east coast.
I live in Cardiff, which according to the AA website is 138.7 miles from Guildford
That may be Tenants mileage, wildly inaccurate and socially unacceptable. Get a price from your local cab firm before making the pilgrimage. I’m off London Road if you need refuge.

The Boss of this place is from Guernsey. I've been here 26 and a bit years. I was born and spent the first 5 years of my life in Kettering, Northants.
I have no idea how far I am from Guildford. Nor do I care! I'd quite like to be closer to Manchester though!

via Lincolnshire, Aden, Gibraltar, Durham, Shropshire, Laois and Wicklow, but not in that order.
But any body of water is home.
