Is anyone going to this?

I've entered the 100m Breastroke for a change as it is my weakest stroke but might have to withdraw as I have injured my knee:banghead: . I will wait and see how it is next week. I am still doing the 50m & 100m back but all of the work I have been doing on starts and turns will be of no use, again because my knee hurts when doing fly kick quickly underwater. I still expect to go sub 31 for the 50 though, but I am unlikely to achieve my 2007 target of sub 30.

I'm going along with maybe 5 other BOK swimmers.

I'm doing the 50 & 100 back as well, plus possibly the 100IM. Trying to focus on backstroke as I want to swim this at the Europeans.

Aiming for around 34 secs for 50m.

I was sat near the BOK swimmers at last years Gateshead & Wickham gala which was my first masters event. They were all very helpful and I was able to get over my nerves very easily.

Look forward to seeing you there and good luck with your swims.

Good luck to you Rossy. I'm not going..just come back from Hols and not fit.

Besides it's my birthday.

Had a good do at Darlington.

3 PB's including 1.2 seconds off 100 backstroke time.

Rossman also shaved a little off his 100 backstroke PB. WELL DONE!

See you at the Yorkshires!

Rachel, it was nice to meet you and Jim.

Congrats on your PBs, the new FSII worked well.

I had 3 PBs as well, although I don't think the 4 x 1 really counts as it is the first one I have competed in.

Are those lifetime PBs, or have you started afresh for your Masters swimming career?

NVF they are Masters PBs, I can't remember most of my lifetime PBs as it was over half a lifetime ago when I did them. I have lost most of my swimming times paperwork and all those after I was 15.
