De Montfort University in Leicester is planning to spend oodles of money building things. The current sports centre would be rebuilt, and the new version would include a pool. There have, according to the local paper, been calls for a new swimming complex since St. Margarets was demolished. The new pool would, it is said, be open to the public as well as staff and students of De Montfort University.
