Certainly hope not. This is a club run by a very dedicated set of people and it would be devastating for swimmers in the area if this was to happen.

definately not going to happen mate....the facility is due to reopen in october and once you get rid of the dinosaurs that sit on the committee....it'll be back on track!

it's a great club....one that puts york on the map!

Was a great club back in the early 90's when I swam for them. Hope they can return to those glory days. York certainly should have and needs a top quality swimming club.

Not the best place to tell the world that the club is run by dinosaurs.

There's a number of current ycbc swimmers and ex ycbc swimmers that have enquired about membership at other clubs in the area.....so perhaps things arent going too well!

Seems in your area that it is more than the tiles that are slipping.

York was also a top club in the late 50's throughout the 60's.
Certainly the best in the north by far (that may raise a few hackles from the whippet brigade :D)

rumour has it the old club is slowly becoming centred around masters' swimming?
