England now look like a sure bet to progress and stay in the competition for a long time yet, a fact that will severely upset the Tartan contingent among us.

I don't think "upset" is the word really. More like disappointed to be honest with you lane4 :p

And while I am being Honest stella, I would like to say that I was confused today. Yes confused as I did not know whether I wanted England to lose or win. I am still shocked by this. I must be coming down with something. :p

I sat with the radio on in work to the disgust of my fellow worker (a bloke not interested in football - work that out!:confused: ) and the only thing I was sure about was that I wanted Seaman to mess something up (think it is his dodgy porn star looks that make me dislike him. I can't remember). I had no problems with England winning and may have even been slightly disappointed if they had lost (I don't know - just saying maybe ok). I may be reading few enough newspapers these days to tolerate the English arrogance but it seems to me that it has lessened slightly. I know the commentators are still very biased which is understandable but they are so in such a more pleasant way this year.

I may be going mad here which is very possible but Well Done ya bunch of English ********;) Hope the rest of it all goes well for you (is there an icon of a smillie throwing up?)

Anyway back to the subject at hand, and England proved today that they are one of the top 8 tams in the world. Brazil next. Unfortunately I tipped them before the tournament to win it - hopefully I'll be proven wrong!!:(
