I think I may have had the honour of reading out birthday greetings at the No Frills meet at Aldershot yesterday (once I'd worked out which town I was in!) :cheers:

I too almost failed to locate the place. We managed to get to within four miles of the place before even seeing a signpost which said 'Aldershot'!:rolleyes:

Anyway it's always good fun spending your birthday locked u... I mean in a swimming pool. At least the day wasn't completely wasted as I did manage a PB!:funnyhat:

I failed to find it in a more figurative sense - having been a spectator at the Guildford meet there a couple of weeks ago (and it not being my home pool) I launched into "welcome to the No Frills meet, which is being held for the first time in Guildford". My wife tapped me on the shoulder and said "er, Aldershot".
