Considering the negativity that is associated with Atlanta 96 and the scandals with Salt Lake 2002 (as well as the political ill will towards the US at the moment) I think it is unlikely that Chicago will get it.
Given the tendancy to attempt to spread the games out geographically a return to western europe or east asia seems unlikely which would rule out Madrid and Tokyo.
Without any further bid info its hard to call between the others. Rio would certainly be interesting, as would Doha.

to be honest Doha has the cash to splash and i think it would be a wonderful venue.

I think either Japan or Brazil (Tokyo and Rio) will get it I hope Japan will because its such a brilliant country but it would be better to have a country in a similar time zone to the UK so I can watch it all live (sad but oh-well)

After the fiasco that England's transport system will produce in 2012, we have to have something to revitalise the Olympic spirit!

The IOC would love to have an Olympiad in South America however all the glitches and complaints at the Pan American Games really dented Rio's hopes. It didn't help that Rogge and other IOC bigwigs were there to witness it.
