Thanks guys.

450 miles isn't that far really.

Honest!:(

No seriously I really enjoyed the meet, met 4 forum regulars for the first time, everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the facility was excellent.

Then just to top it all off I swam pretty well also. I should take this opportunity to recommend this meet for anyone looking for something to do next June (forward planning!). I know I will seriously consider returning next year!!:D

Glad you enjoyed it Baz and good to see you swimming well.

It was good to meet you too and maybe you could tell people (eg Tara) that I'm not such a rogant stard after all.;)

I'll do that Rogant. Anyone here off to Coventry this weekend??

Saw on Ceefax a line saying something about the British team preparing for the Games, so I went to the page, and all it said was "All 41 members of England's Commonwealth Games Team will participate in the English National Championships at Coventry this weekend". How exciting! I mean for a moment I almost thought swimming was getting some coverage!

I was supposed to be swimming on my way home for my first trip back since leaving 18months ago, but haven't got much training in recently due to uni exams so am giving it a miss and having an extra day at home!!

Good luck to anyone who is swimming though

Can I just ask... being the freak that I am, I counted the number of swimmers on the proposed list for Manchester. There were 42, which I thought was a little bit odd as I happened to know 41 is the maximum number allowed. Now the final list is out, there are only 41. What happened and what about the poor person dropped!!! It seems so unfair to have dropped one person! I know this doesn't fit in with the thread but never mind... does anyone know anything about this? :rainbow:
