My sentiments exactly. Many of the adult members interested in having useful and thought provoking discussions seem to be deserting the site, no doubt due to the invasion of children spraffing meaningless drivel that now dominates the forums.

This thread is in swimmers corner. They are swimmers. Some of the swimmers who contribute have a very adult outlook on swimming. Start posting coaching threads and keep the site interesting.

as a coach of 10 year olds, i thinks it's really valuable to hear the views of the swimmers on this site - it gives this old foggie an insight into what my swimmers are thinking! so keep posting guys!

o well, excuse me. *can't you just HEAR the sarscam in my voice* maybe then you should change the site name to ONLY ADULTS ALLOWED KIDS NOT WANTED CUZ ALL KIDS ARE STUPID AND "SPRAFF MEANINGLESS DRIVEL" TOO MUCH SWIMMING FORUM. geez, it's not like most adults here still swim, and all kids here DO swim. this is the swimmers' corner, so why are you getting upset??? people came here to contribute questions, comments, share a common interest. as long as we all love swimming, what does age matter?

Hey  I didn't post this topic to have a bunch of people arguing.:( I just wanted to see if there were any other kids near my age I could talk to. I didn't want to make any one feel bad  I think Julia is taking this a little to far. I mean I like having all sorts of ages here. Pete has given me some great advice, and so have alot of other people.........
:) Be happy,
Lauren

i came here from the usa swimming board because i wanted to have discussions with people in their early 20's and older, instead of conversing with 10 year olds. however i don't think it's necessary to make a little girl feel bad for wanting to find some friends her own age here.
