As the European Court of Human Rights have deemed that transexuals can have their birth certificates altered, what implications does this have for sport? The mind boggles!

Most people who would have a sex change would be of masters age. And with masters, there are a series of clubs around the world who belong to IGLA (International Gay & Lesbian Aquatics). Who ever is so inclined to have a sex change would probably be apart of this. As for national and FINA rules, they would probably follow whatever standard IGLA would use.

Some of the info you have posted is amazing.
Do you do lots of research on it or are you one of those people who have an idetic memory?

Just out of interest (and not to my own taste - despite what it may say beneath my name!), has anybody ever heard of something similar over here?
I've certainly never come across anything of the sort...

There's a masters club in london called "out to swim". The name pretty much says it all, so I'll let you draw your own conclusions ;) They have a (possibly blind?) girl going to the commie games in the EAD events.
