Anyone here using AOL having problems seeing pullbuoy?

I heard a rumour that AOL's adult filtering is blocking the site, because it sounds like "pull boy" with all of the connotations that has

Anyway if you could let me know that would be great, and if it is a problem I will try and get it sorted.

Cheers!

Steve

I have not had any problems on AOL, unless I have not viewed the offending pages.

Please advise where on the site the problem may lie and I will check for you.

No problems viewing Pullbuoy here but am experiencing problems in that I don't appear to be receiving some emails that people within the club are sending to me?!

Other AOL users in the club appear to be having similar problems.

I rang the tec support about it a while ago but they seemed largely clueless - hardly surprising considering where their call centre is based.

Any other AOL users aware they are having this problem?

Guys, I have the solution to all your AOL problems:

Get rid of AOL and use an ISP that actually works!

It really is that simple! 1000's of unsuspecting 'internet naive' people sign up for AOL everyday to make up for the 1000's of AOL customers who leave AOL realising what a mistake they made. You too can join them. Go on, make the break!

Which ISPs have you had decent service from ?

And does anyone have any experience of the new(ish) BT Openworld Broadband unmetered Service please ?

Have Fun :) :) :)

Found BT had a terrible service a couple of years ago could never get online. Stories I have heard say the service is not much better now. They cut you off or you cannot get connected. Not sure about broadband though but it is expensive. I hear similar complaints about other ISP's. Never had any problems with AOL. When surfing I just launch Internet Explorer once I am connected; although their own browser is much improved. :)

we have BT openworld broadband at work and it is quite good in my limited experience. every now and then you have trouble getting connected - but not that often - and that is normally sorted pretty quickly. it is also really fast - faster than anything else i've tried.

Telewest Broadband (aka Blueyonder). Fantastic service (512k for £25/month, 1 meg for £35/month). Great value. Problems extremely rare. Its the only way to go!

I'm now on NTL Broadband (finally!) 128k for £14.99 pcm (which IIRC is the same cost as Freeserve 56k dialup). I was on NTLworld dialup before which was pitiful, but the broadband has been excellent so far, with no problems as yet :D
