Closest decent pool to Loch Lomond

Anybody know of any decent pools near Balloch?

Working in the area for a few months and don't want my training to grind to a holt!

Am willing to drive for an hour to use a nice pool.

If you dnot mind driving into glasgow, try scotstoun leisure in the west od the city or in the east of the city Tollcross (50m) tollcross generally has lanes to spare for public when City of Glasgow swim team are not using it.

I've swum at Helensburgh when visiting Loch Lomond. This pool may be the closest for you.

if your not botherd by the pool you swim in then Vale of Leven pool...if the closest 5-10 mins down the dual carrageway from Balloch.

although it might not still be open...if you can search for West dunbartionshire Swimming club......

ok i have just gone to google the Vale pool is still open.

I don't think the opening hours at the Vale pool are very good, and people have suggested lunch as the only suitable time for a decent lane swim. However I swim for a few hours so that isn't really any good in the long run.

But I will try the Scotstoun leisure pool, this week.
