Just used Meet Manager for the first time this weekend and, compared with the DOS based Sportsystems I had previously used, it was incredibly easy.
However the referee, time keepers, and announcer would have liked the competitor number from the programme to be produced on the heat sheets. I couldn't manage to do this at the weekend, and have spent a couple of hours this morning looking through the help menu to no avail.
Does anyone know if this is possible?

Just read Getting Faster's reply on an earlier thread. Thanks GF.

Blimey, I wrote something about it a couple of years ago! We have found since then that it's not actually necessary, if you generate the right set of documentation for refs and timekeepers. Perhaps you can PM FlyingBean, she documented a process flow including a list of which reports are useful to print.
I know that a few years ago it was customary to read out a list of competitor numbers for those that aren't swimming, but we've got round that by printing off heat sheets for poolside and for the spectators in the gallery so they can check for themselves, and so they know what heat their people are swimming in. Seeing as it's so much quicker to get heats seeded, the lists can be ready pretty quickly, so available for viewing during much of the warm-up. If you get one of your runners to stick a couple of heat sheets up on the wall where spectators can get to them, there's no need to read out a list of non-swimmers.
One extra tip regarding sign-in sheets that we've been doing, just to avoid silly mistakes on the part of swimmers or mischievous behaviour. When sign-in sheets are "closed", we highlight any names that are either not signed or have been dubiously crossed out, and the announcer reads the names out during the warm-up, with instructions for the swimmer or coach to come and tell us if the person does want to swim.

Can't understand why, down south, alot of you seem to be just now getting to grips with start sheets being issued during warm-ups and producing sets for officials to work off without time cards, we've being doing that up here for a number of years now in fact I used to run meets at Tollcross back in 2002 and we were doing this, for being so far ahead with facilities etc you seem to be a bit behind when it comes to organising and running meets, can't remember the last time I did paper only entries up here.

Thanks. We used a system of coaches withdrawing swimmers rather than swimmers signing in, which avoided the problems of malicious crossings out, but which, for the first couple of sessions anyway led to a few empty lanes.
