Hi not a clue but am very interested - this is our (City of Sunderland ASC) fantastic new training facility. Our home after years of training at various pools around the City. The Beacon Club should enhance our status - thats the hope anyway. So if anyone has ideas of who might be interested please post!

Hi

Well its the official open evening tonight - luckily have a ticket - anyone else going?? Wonder if any 'prospective candiatates' will be around?

Really looking forward to getting in properly seating area been out of bounds (keeping it nice for tonights events i guess). Swimmers are delighted with this new facility and so they should be:)

Hi Swim-Mum.. Unfortunately I'm working this eve., so won't be there, even though i'm just 12 or so miles up't road.
I sampled the 50-metre format a couple of Saturdays ago, can heartily concur with your sentiments about the pool.

Well it was a great night both indoor and outdoor events were amazing although the weather did put a dampener on the outside stuff - but thats the North East of England for you.
Didn't see anyone who maybe interested in the Beacon job though - Dave Legge was there (Regional Talent & Dec Coach), Graeme Antwhistle with Jemma Lowe, Fred Kirby, a few N&D and NER folks.
Swimmers in training this morning 5:30 - some things don't change.

So who is interested in this job? N&D area is loosing more coaches as Les Green (Middlesbrough) has announced his retirement, Dave McNulty has gone from Derwentside so the Beacon job is not the only one up for grabs up here.

I'm surprised to hear this about the David Lloyd centre. Zanshin will be surprised too. He's a great fan of theirs.
