How can I stock a Swimming club shop?

Hello all and thanks for allowing me into this forum, this is my first post and asking for help already I have been the dubious honour of establishing a club shop. HELP how on earth do I do it I have limited capital and little space. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. All proceeds will be going to the club so it is not for personal gain. Yes I have, and I am registered with mailsports and swimshop, however as I am unable to buy in bulk due to small capital and as I have to order in, therefore no time advantage, I am unable to make any profit for the club as most people tend to go direct to these vendors):

Why don't you try getting 'seconds' from a manufacturer. They always have dozens of items where the stitching may not be be perfect and hats and drink bottles that have printing which isn't in register. The manufacturer I have in mind produces the best endurance costumes going. You can get these quite cheap too. I had a girl's costume from them which lasted six years of being immersed in chlorine every day, along with my body! I'll PM you with contact details.

Welcome to the forums Double Top!

All that the Barracudas (http://www.barracudas-sc.org.gg) swim shop stocks is:

Club kit (tracksuits, hoodies, t-shirts, polo shirts)
Club bathers
Club swim caps

And occasionally a few random extra items.

But as you see, it's generally cheaper and easier for people to order stuff direct from places such as our wonderful site advertisers!

What sort of things were you thinking about stocking?

Not sure yet, the club kit and caps are a definate, and I am looking at the bathers as a possible, however things like goggles/kickboards etc are a maybe. I think I have found a supplier now thanks to Lucy, certainly for the club branded kit, but I am still open for pointers on other particular items that may be useful.
