Hi yes I had an alright meet but I thought it could have been better. Sessions were too long and started too early but I suppose that's what happens when you have to swim with the age groupers. Leeds was far better and I prefered the 10am start times. Very pleased with my 67.1 split in the medley relay!!!
It was my intention to be controversial, I was in one of my sarcy moods, and was hoping for a better response, but there's still time.
Parents (and even some coaches) do not understand the importance of the relationship between swimmer and coach, and that can take any form (within reason), if it helps the swimmer be a better swimmer. Some swimmers need a kick up the arse, some need a comforting arm round the shoulder, some need to be left alone, some need to be told they have only let themselves down, and some need to be made to feel guilty and they have let the coach down.
There isn't a one fit rule for all, it's what works for the swimmer/coach.
For some reason the results sheet has event no.21 the girls 13/un backstroke as having Hatfield in 1st with 1.12.66 and ealing in 2nd with 1.12.76 but I clearly remember our swimmer getting the touch and going 1.12.60. Sneaky! And the two 1st place DQs did favour Hatfield.

i was coaching her a few weeks back when i was in belfast shes gonna be very very good!!! i wil also see her on the 2nd of oct for a few days before i head off
yes mate i shall b setting it up in the next 2 weeks or so, i want looads of us to do it this year. i went on the site yesterday to look you can go on and start picking your team but there is no point really as the transfer system does not stop tll aug 31st!
