I've got as far as entering my times online and there's been no need to prove when/where achieved.

I went into my World Masters account today to try to register for one event, just to see hwat it was like.
I entered myself for the 200m fly. I was asked to upload a photo, which I did, then to select an event, which I did, then to put down my best time (did NOT specify SC or LC, nor was ANY proof asked!), so I did this, then it was straight through to the payments page! So it looks like you do NOT need any proof to register for your races! |

I just entered and the confirmation email that I received said that I need to bring a Club Registration card / Master License (if available). What are people planning on using for this? Suggestions?
Two more questions: 1) what is the consensus regarding the potential need for doctor's certificates? 2) is there any need for any authority/permission from British Masters in order to compete? |

We are not bothering re the medical certificate as we have never been asked for it at Europeans or Worlds and it doesn't mention one anywhere and, yes, you need permission from the ASA to compete abroad. We always send them our ASA reg numbers and details of the meet.
Take your ASA membership card as the proof - to answer your first question last !!! |

I filled in the registration form today. It told me that an email had been sent with the relevant details to complete my registration so that I could enter the meet. The email didn't arrive. Does this sound familiar? When should I expect the email?
Failed to enter GB Masters LC too this weekend. Not too impressed with either system. |

I entered my other events today (100m fly and the open water 3K swim), so thats all my entries sorted, and my hotel and flight booked. Only the training to worry about now!
Did 18 swim sessions in March, aiming for 20+ in April with the focus on fly training with a few 3K swims in the pool along the way.... |
