Yesterday was my first day back after nationals and I was ready for an easy session. This one was with my new team and it was far from easy. There were quite a few in the lane so diving on every rep meant you could always finish at the wall, but my legs were pretty wobbly by the end of it.
1000 mixed warm up. 60 x 50 free on 50 - all from a dive from the block 400 recovery 6 x 50 IM order (no free) w. 15 200 easy |

First Lido session of the year for me at Cheltenham (Sandford ParK) today. Have been away the
Sat two weekends. Good session, I had forgotten how much fun outdoor pools are. I am more than happy as long as it has lane ropes and chlorine! 3x100 free wu 4x100 medley. 100 on 1.45 200 on 3.30 300 on 5.15 2x50 easy single arm on 60 Repeat on 1.40, 3.20, 5.00 , 60 300 on 5.00 200 on 3.20 100 on 1.40 2x50 on 60 4x25 under water drills fins. 2900 metres

7x100 wu on 2 3x400 30 secs rest between, fast every 4th length. 6x50 15 secs rest easy 2x500 build 30 secs rest between, build. 150 swim down. Total 3350.

I feel like it but club session tonight.
700 warm up. F/s/Bk 4x (5x50 on 1.15. Fast, 100 recovery on 1.45) 200 easy 4x (3x25 slow, steady, Max.) 200 easy 4x50 Max from blocks. 200 Swim down. Total 3200 metres.

Ha ha ha. WISH I could do those sort of sets at the moment. Managed 2000m today - the farthest I have swum in six weeks and still all free and back but with some sprints being thrown in now too
