Rather than start about 20 different Olympic threads, I'd like to speculate on the following:

1. Will Camille Muffat become the Aldlington replacement as a double Olympic Gold Medallist - forget Pellegrini, this girl's has class.

2. What will be the most lame excuse from a British swimmer - and how will it compare with the most honest one, like "I swam crap"? Can food poisoning really play a part in London, as it seems to have done in the past 3 or 4 major events.

3. Who has already announced plans to retire - and how will the list compare with those who have left the sport by Christmas? I suspect we'll have the biggest shakeout in history. Will anybody get more press headlines than Becky - perhaps a Swim Club member traversing the pool in the middle of a race (a la boat race!).
