UEA City of Norwich Easter Meet
Thinking of sending entries to the Norwich Easter Meet
How do you people rate the pool (for racing purposes rather than spectator facilities) as opposed to say K2, Crystal Palace or Aldershot which are the alternatives at that time of year in the South Eastern area and are there any good places to stay in the vicinity? |

There are a lot of hotels near the venue. Premier inns / travellodge / holiday inn and other better hotels.
The pool is fast. I'd say quicker than all the Palace and Aldershot and in my experience as good as K2. Good cafe as well. Lots of space outside to get some fresh air.

The pool is also quite hot so you need to take that into account!
I would say that it's a good pool. we are off there! |

As swimmer says there is no swimdown pool.
Like K2 there are cold air vents on the side by the window that are built into a bench which is just the right height to sit on. If people cover those vents with their towels then the poolside can get quite warm, but thats exactly the same as K2. Imagine K2 with a moveable boom rather than one that comes up from the floor. When I first saw K2 my thoughts were that it seemed very like the UEA. I might be there, more likely on the friday, but wearing white. For some reason they don't like me wearing my hat when officiating. I've checked the rules and can't see anything against it. |

I'll bet that you'll feel a little bear without it!

He does not go to many parties as he has nobody to go with.

You probably saw that one coming - or not as it goes.
