A couple of good swims from the youngsters but we are struggling in terms of getting second swims and prospective medal chances this morning!

Are you sure about that? Did Katy swim under the name of Sarah Price then?

He was so looking forward to the European Champs as well.

Sorry if this going to sound defensive Tara , I really don't mean it to !!

She was very poorly at Swansea last weekend and at the beginning of the week and I understand was advised by British Swimming to pull out of the Europeans.

It was touch and go if she would actually swim Speedo, and again I understand she had permission to do so..

Neither her parents nor her coach would do anything to jeopardise her GB chances now or for the future.

We didn't know until yesterday morning if she would swim or not. Luckily for us she did indeed swim Speedo very well, as only Julie can, she fought all the well on several events, and suffered after every event because of it.

Happily she was at training this morning, so although not fully recovered,
she's on the mend.

It was good to have her there, even though she had not been able to train much the preceding week.
There were a lot of others who were less than well, but I suppose they are not well known so no one mentions them.
It does sound like this was common throughout Saturday night's galas though, reading the posts here!
