Incidentally, Cardiff, who you seem affliliated to and were third, have not had any maltreatment from Plymouth on this site - which makes your comments all the more immature and pathetic

People like you who just come on this well-respected site and make unwanted personal comments about hard working swimmers and coaches should maybe consider setting up your own site for this
So no appolagys for being rude about my dylexica then??

Leek swimmers did us proud . Brilliant swims from all the Teams .
Leek is only a very small club but , with some fantastic swims ,they were a credit to our coach and the club. A brilliant Team , and a brilliant coach...

Jack Lay 3 individual events? Are the rules different in other leagues?

E Mids and London

Yep, rules are different so Speedo is National ......ish

For E Mids it's 3 individual events with max 2 in own age group, except Open when you can swim 3

London, as T&B will doubtless know, is 2 max in own age group but no specified max of individual events outside of that

Some consistency across leagues in this respect would seem desirable, as long as it is fair to smaller clubs - is there a good reason why we can't swim to common set of rules does anyone know?

Well run gala hosted by Runnymede. Shame was that this was the smallest crowd I had ever seen at a speedo gala despite 8 teams competing. Good atmosphere on poolside (took over 30 minutes for the coach transport to get out of car park due to inconsiderate car parking!!)
Was very pleased with Teddington's results. I thought Steve's team would beat us into 3rd and it would be tight between us and Shiverers, but we were close to Cambridge until 3/4 of the way through. Weel done to Hillingdon in making the A final, I think.

I was very tired after the competition and I was dozing in the coach. I woke up and we were still in the car park! Another coach got stuck in the car park!

I was hoping we might do the double over you but you beat us with some ease. Did you have a better squad or just swam better? Next time make sure you come and say hello. Johnny from Greenwich Mariners (also a swim club member) was there last night as well.

You were lucky you slept through the car park incident. I was preying that we might whack one of those who parked ilegally!

Both Teddington and Harlow will finish with 18 league points - I think you come out on top though with more 25+ more gala points

I really don't know what happened. I was surprised when they were announcing the points. We had some good swims. Lots of top half finishes and no DQs. We actually had one of our top swimmers back for the final round (he swam the 1st, but missed the 2nd round), however he found out that injuries seriously affect your swimming and he swam very bad!

Regarding the parking. It happens so much at Enfield. Cars park in the middle of the car park, in the middle of the road. How stupid!

Big bummer for us, final round got cancelled at the last minute due to some problem at Spalding pool.

Be interesting to find out when it's going to be swum,is not going to be easy because of other commitments by clubs and swimmers.
