You should see what I've been given to do on Saturday! No pain, no gain...

I'm not competing in the pool this year, and am working on endurance / maintaining pace for some long open water swims.

My last 3 training sessions:

Friday, 400m warm up, then 2 x 100m fly off 3 mins, trying to hold my target 200m pace, times were 1.24, 1.23, then a 100m recovery,
then 3 x 200m fly drill, then 3 x (4 x 50m full fly), going off 70 secs for first 2 sets and 75 secs for last set, times were 41, 41, 41, 41 / 41, 41, 42, 44
/ 42, 41, 41, 40, then did a 100m recovery, then did a 200m medium pace IM in 3.34, then 200m warm down. Total distance was 2400m.

Sunday: 400m warm up, then 2 x 200m fly drill, then 2 x 50m fly HAP, each followed by a 50m recovery, times were 36.1, 36.8, then
a 100m recovery, then a 1500m FC, time was 23.44, approx splits were 400 in 6.15, 800m in 12.40.Then a 100m fly medium pace in 1.28, then 200m warm
down. Total distance was 2900m.

Mon: 600m warm up, then main set, FC, 2 x 100m off 1.40, 1 x 200m off 3.20, 2 x 100m off 1.40, all by 3, times were 1.23, 1.24, 2.53, 1.24, 1.24 / 1.23, 1.24, 2.52, 1.23, 1.23 / 1.25, 1.24, 2.53, 1.23, 1.22, then 2 x 50m sprint, I did both as fly, did not time myself, I guess the first was around 42 and the second one around 39, then 200m warm down. Total distance was 2700m.

it was a cheapo watch I bought several yrs ago, and had repaired and used again, so it owes me nothing. Im going back there tonight and I will ask them if they found it and if so I will see if I can get it fixed.
I have about 4 other watches that the same thing happened to (plastic lane rope broke the watch fastener strap) that I got repaired, so Im not too worried, and the tri club will have my splits fairly soon.....
now that the triathlon is over, my only focus now will be swimming until the world masters in Italy.....

Is that when your wrist clashes with the solid lane ropes ? I have a purple bruised wrist from saturday, where i was trying to keep close to the left all the time....
