 Major Forum Upgrade on the horizon ... |

VBulletin (www.vbulletin.com) have just released version 4 of the forum (and content management) script.
It looks very impressive, improves some important areas (member profile pages is one of them) and should make the forums even better.
I have no idea how it's going to affect the current design of the forums (but I imagine the scheme we have at the moment will not be compatible) so the upgrade could be... [Read More]

Have needed to update the forums for a while, a finally have a few spare moments, so will upgrade today.
Assuming there are no problems, and in light of past experience, downtime should only be a maximum of 30 minutes.
Haven't decided what time I'm going to do it .... will depend what's on tv this afternoon.

Dear all.
As the forums are more active than they have ever been, I am having to take steps to upgrade the site hosting.
As such, there will be a small amount of downtime for the forums sometime soon (can't be more precise than that at the moment I'm afraid!)
Sign that the site move is underway - you won't be able to access it;
Sign that the move is complete - you will be able to access it after a period of not being able to access it!
